The horror film was originally budgeted at $80,000. Unfortunately, the primary investor had to drop support for the film after financial hardships caused by the 2008 banking bailout. Several sequences had already been filmed before the budget evaporated including the opening sequence where the car was destroyed. If you look closely, you can see the different visual look between the Sony Professional HD sequences and those filmed with a Canon camera at the much lower budget. Director Mike Dunn decided to complete the film - filming guerrilla-style when necessary. The total budget for the feature film was rumored to be around $5,000 under the SAG Ultra-Low agreement. A similar financial meltdown occurred on Michael Dunn's first feature film, Alone and Restless (the original production company went bankrupt). See more
