Dreadful television show that wasn't even helped by the fact that there
were no commercials until nearly 20 minutes had passed. Without the
audience participation by laughter, we get a dead-pan like routine most
appropriate for this dismal show.
There is one bright light, that of the officer worker who knows how to give one-liners in the tradition of Eve Arden or Thelma Ritter, but unfortunately she is given little to do.
The guys at the office are the cliché types. Everyone can't wait to make a score with some chick and that's all they talk about or are inferring in this seriously flawed show. What exactly is this business all about? That's never adequately explained here.
The premise that a guy and a gal working in the same office, coming off a divorce and a dead partner can make it together, is not the greatest to begin with.
