The story takes place four decades after the events of the first film, and is set during World War II with the arrival of a group of evacuee children at Eel Marsh House. Here's the synopsis that was released:

British director, Tom Harper (The Borrowers TV movie, Misfits), has been tabbed as the director for the revitalized Hammer’s The Woman In Black sequel, The Woman In Black: Angel Of Death. Harper will bring Jon Croker’s script to life.

Here’s the synopsis:

Seized by the government and converted into a military mental hospital during World War II, the sudden arrival of disturbed soldiers to Eel Marsh Harsh has awoken its darkest inhabitant.  Eve, a beautiful young nurse, is sent to the house to care for the patients but soon realizes she must save them from more than their own demons.  Despite Eve’s efforts to stop her, one by one they fall victim to the Woman in Black.\

Beyond that, all we know is that the film is aiming for a 2014 release and, as of now, will not feature a Daniel Radcliffe cameo. Of course, I »

Hammer Films has hired U.K. director Tom Harper (The Borrowers) to helm the sequel to the Daniel Radcliffe horror film The Woman in Black.

The sequel is called The Woman in Black: Angel of Death, and the story takes place "four decades after the events of the first film, setting the story during World War II with the arrival of a group of evacuee children at Eel Marsh House."

Sounds like a good creepy setting. According to the announcement this is "the next installment in the series," so I imagine we'll get a few more Woman in Black movies in the future if they keep doing well at the box office. The script for the sequel was written by Jon Croker from an original story by author Susan Hill.

I loved the first film, it had a great creepy, old school horror movie vibe to it. I'm looking »

So here we go, all of the sudden we have Harper attached to direct The Woman In Black sequel, titled The Woman In Black: Angel Of Death! Surprised?

I am a little bit surprised by this news, but what the hell, let the whole thing continue! After all, we have no doubts in this project. Jon Croker wrote the script and the movie will (logically) be the next instalment in the series, based on the original story written by Susan Hill.

Sherlock is cheeky entertainment, insists BBC after nudity complaints

11 January 2012 10:12 AM, PST | The Guardian - TV News | See recent The Guardian - TV News news »

Executives say they 'thought very carefully' about including images of naked dominatrix before the 9pm watershed

BBC executives "thought very carefully" before including the pre-watershed nude scenes in Sherlock that drew around 100 complaints, but decided to go ahead because the drama is "cheeky entertainment", according to controller of drama commissioning Ben Stephenson.

Stephenson said that Sherlock fans will have to wait at least until next year for more episodes of the hit show, starring Benedict Cumberbatch.

Speaking about the Sherlock footage of actress Lara Pulver, who plays dominatrix Irene Adler, Stephenson said he "sort of expected" complaints would be made.

In the New Year's Day episode, A Scandal in Belgravia, Cumberbatch's Sherlock Holmes meets his match in the form of Adler, who is naked when they first meet. However, thanks to the camera angles and Pulver's carefully placed arms and hands, viewers do not see her completely naked.
