Elka comes alive in this one and actually hits the drums. The girls form a band in this one and attempt to enter a contest. Rick appears and gets Joy out of the band. She leaves in a way that Ethel would have walked out on Lucy.

Of course, with the remaining girls in dire circumstances, we know what Joy will ultimately do.

This is definitely a story of friendship and loyalty. The girls may have absolutely no voices, but they definitely have heart.

Anyone see that the guy who plays Rick strongly resembles Josh Mostel, the pudgy son of the late great Zero Mostel?
