Storyline

After a girl and a boy in masks go on a killing spree,murdering clubbers and a shop-keeper,they are cornered at another robbery where the girl,Joanne Vickers,shoots the older,controlling boyfriend,deranged ex-soldier Andy Bishop. Joanne's lawyer Phyllis Gladstone argues that her client was bullied and coerced by Bishop into being his accomplice and Jake's boss Henry Sharpe feels he should prosecute Joanne for murder,not manslaughter,warning him that his future rests on the case's outcome. Helped by Alesha, Jake needs to dig into Joanne's past if he is to get his desired verdict.
