The Silver Key
22 January 2013 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

I watched this on you tube today. So I thought I would comment on this.

Basically this is another short movie which delves into the mind of HP Lovecraft. The story is about finding a key which he lost in his youth. A key to another dimension. Do you think that twilight zone or outer limits were the first to take you to a different dimension? Think again Lovercraft was there years before.

Rather than this being a commercial film it looks like a labour of love. This story is very allegorical. Most of the people I know regularly visit their youth through reading what they did when they were you Randolf just wants to go back to what he experienced we he was young. The you tube video is in black and white and features a soundtrack but no dialogue. I got the gist of the story and really enjoyed it. Now I am going to go back and read it again. This little short is well worth tracking down.
