Teleprog has acquired all Middle East TV and VOD rights to Detour, General Education, Union Square, Saving Santa and Dorfman In Love

Mig Film Group acquired German and German-speaking Europe to Seance: The Summoning, House Of Last Things and Armistice, while Koch Media took all Benelux rights to Conception.

Sinema TV took Turkey/Cyprus TV and VOD rights to Saving Santa, Detour and Empire Of Dirt, while Dexterity Entertainment picked up Mexico, Central America, South America and Caribbean pay-tv to Dorfman In Love, Union Square, Séance: The Summoning and General Education.

Maiara Walsh To Play Witchita On “Zombieland” TV Show

The casting bonanza for Amazon’s Zombieland TV show continues, with Maiara “I’d Like to Buy a Vowel” Walsh being cast as Wichita filling the able shoes of Emma Stone in the original Ruben Fleischer film. Walsh has been a steady TV presence in Desperate Housewives, Switched At Birth, and in the film General Education. She’s also in the upcoming Hunger Games parody, The Starving Games.

Her character is described as “a natural con-woman and tough girl who with her younger sister Little Rock teams up with Columbus to survive the zombie apocalypse and search for survivors.“

She joins Izabela Vidovic and Tyler Ross in the cast, who will fill the roles of Little Rock and Columbus, respectively. Tucker And Dale Vs. Evil’s Eli Craig will direct and the original writers, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, are writing and executive producing the show. »

"...the future for 'Levi Collins' is looking great. He's set to attend the local university on a tennis scholarship, but there’s just one small problem – he didn't graduate.

"Now he’s got to take summer school before his parents find out he failed senior science, while a budding romance with a classmate may show him there’s more to education than grades..."
