18 September 2016 7:10 AM, PDT | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

Thomas Middleditch is up for his first Emmy Award this year, for his role in HBO's lauded Silicon Valley. The show's cast is by and large made up of the kind of salt-of-the-Earth, journeyman comedians who have been plugging away in the trenches before landing starring roles on pay cable, and Middleditch is no exception. Through comedy special Bianca Del Rio’s Rolodex of Hate, short film Darby Forever, and upcoming web series The Outs (which will premiere on March 30th), Vimeo has cobbled together its first full slate of original programming. In a press release, YouTube noted that 37% of last year’s Super Bowl ad video views came before the game. The most-viewed ad from 2015’s crop, Budweiser’s ‘Lost Dog,’ arrived online five days before it aired on TV. »
