Storyline

Linden has to fight Lt. Carlson to get the police out to search for Holder. He's not keen to go onto Indian tribal lands but Holder is found alive though severely injured. Linden pays a heavy price however. Linden keeps Holder's rendezvous with the young woman who found and returned Rosie's backpack. She tells Linden exactly what Rosie was doing at the casino that night. Richmond leaves the hospital with 5 days to go before the election. Gwen and Jamie tell him he's he's losing by 7 points and either has to tell the public where he was the night of Rosie's murder or make some type of grand gesture. After his television appeal, Stan Larsen receives a number of tips about his daughter's murder but Linden doesn't put any faith in the information he's received. Stan learns that Linden had good reason to be skeptical. Linden decides to send her son to live with his father. Written by garykmcd

Trouble with the Tribal Leaders
22 January 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

It takes time to find Holder, beaten and almost dead. A little Native American child gets the ball rolling with a silent gesture. Sarah does everything she can to get the units they need and then gets herself fired for insubordination. She is such a complex character. She is obviously constantly overcompensating for something, perhaps her own upbringing. She is so determined. She has the look of one of those big horn sheep before it drives forward into an adversary. After a season and a half, we are still trying to guess what the heck that Indian tribe and the authorities are involved in. There are cover-ups all over the place. The political campaign still hinges on what Richmond was doing the night of the murder. We know what he was doing, but no one else does. Stan continues his personal investigation, having offered money to anyone who can help catch Rosie's murderer. One good thing is Rosie sending Jack off to his father. He is safe and she doesn't have to be looking over her shoulder all the time. On the other hand, how long will it be before he is integrated into his new family and Sarah's ex- demands full custody.
