I recently watched Toxic Crusaders: The Movie (1997) on Tubi. The storyline revolves around Melvin's transformation into the Toxic Avenger and his encounters with other mutants who join forces to protect Tromaville from the nefarious intentions of an evil alien named Dr. Killemoff.

The movie is co-directed by Bill Hutten and Bill Hutten, who previously collaborated on Super Friends. It features the voices of talented actors, including Michael J. Pollard (Scrooged), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward in SpongeBob SquarePants), Katherine Soucie (Rugrats) and Gregg Berger (The Garfield Show).

The storyline essentially comprises the first three episodes of the Toxic Crusaders television series. The first 40-45-minute duration provides an engaging introduction to the formation of the Toxic Crusaders and their initial confrontation with Dr. Killemoff. The characters, settings, vehicles, weapons, and superpowers are all entertaining, and the witty dialogue, particularly Michael J. Pollard's sarcasm, never fails to bring a smile to my face. I only wish there were more episodes in this series.

In conclusion, Toxic Crusaders: The Movie is an enjoyable film that I would recommend to those who appreciate it. If you do, I strongly suggest watching the entire series. I would rate this movie an 8/10 and wholeheartedly recommend it.
