This short film was shot and edited in less than 24 hours for the 2011 Knoxville 24 hour Film Festival where it took home 3 awards: Best Actress (Lauren Lazarus), Best Director (Brooks Benjamin), and Audience Favorite.

When you see the heroes arguing over what genre of film to make, the writers had a very similar conversation as to what type of movie they should write. This is what spawned the creation of "And Scene!"

The little girl in the movie is wearing distinctive gloves because the director, thought that they might not be able to film her last scene at the café and might have to rely on a voice over from her. The gloves would serve as an indication of who said those lines when you see her standing at the tree after the credits.

During the zombie scene, the filmmakers bribed a local band with beer to refrain from loading their vehicles for 30 minutes while they finished shooting. The band was happy enough to accept.

In the original version, the heist scene didn't make the cut. The finished film had to be 4 minutes or less. The director felt this was the only scene that he could sacrifice. The original TRT was 3 minutes and 58 seconds.

The crew had to carry a baseball bat, brass knuckles, chains, a machete, and a real shotgun down the streets of Knoxville at 9:00 pm to the café in which they were shooting.

The logo, "That's Nuts Productions", was based on a running gag that one of the PA's, Austin Lightsey, and the Prop master, Jackie Barnes, started during filming.

The editor, Nanik (Nik), and Brooks only had 5 hours to edit the movie. The finished product had to be turned in by 7:00 pm the day after they started shooting.
