This was shown at the Fightfest in London in 2011. I don't think Axelle was pleased by the schedule though, because her short movie came right after a very light and funny short. But I think it works nevertheless. It works as a short movie, just don't expect it to be something that is out to scare the life out of you.

It is building up slowly, but has more going for it than some feature length movies can come up with with ten times the budget and running time. Don't be judgemental too, because she might have gotten help from Neil Marshall, the vision shown on screen is surely her own making. It is strong and shows that she has a talent for this. I'm curious what she's going to come up with next ... plus I love the title. It may say more than you think ...

A little gem!

I saw this film at this year's Frightfest, and the film was screened right after two over the top funny horror films.

However, the audience immediately embraced this wonderful tale with a great performance from Jean Marsh.

Not knowing anything about the film, I was expecting a horror film in the style of her husband's films (Neil Marshall, director of The Descent). On the contrary, Axelle Carolyn gives us a beautiful dramatic tale and her direction is flawless.

She has a great career ahead of her and I would like to see her directing features in the future.
