Paul is struggling with his past, he can't get over the fact that his long term girlfriend has left him for another man, his mental state has been seriously affected. To make matters worse he has been diagnosed with early stages of throat cancer, he has no intention of taking his treatment and prefers to take illegal drugs to escape reality and soothe his pain. A volunteer is sent to help him but she reminds him of his ex girlfriend and this brings back all the bad memories. Paul's paranoia convinces him that the man who stole his ex girlfriend is going to do the same with Emma the volunteer. This brings out Paul's Schizophrenia with terrible consequences.
