This was one of the first tv cooking shows I ever saw. Rhodes travelled throughout Britain and cooked dishes using the ingredients hhe happened to find in each location, for a unique take on local British cuisine. I recall one episode at an English monastery, with the dessert being Gypsy tart, using only evaporated milk and brown sugar. The minks were delighted! So sad he is gone now, and was so young.
