Katniss Everdeen voluntarily takes her younger sister's place in the Hunger Games, a televised fight to the death in which two teenagers from each of the twelve Districts of Panem are chosen at random to compete.
Six months after winning the 74th Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen and her partner Peeta Mellark must go on what is known as the Victor's Tour, wherein they visit all the districts, but before leaving, Katniss is visited by President Snow who fears that Katniss defied him a year ago during the games when she chose to die with Peeta. He tells Katniss that while on tour she better try to make sure that she puts out the flames or else everyone she cares about will be in danger. Written by
In early scenes, Katniss wears an unusual stylized woolen garment. This is apparently a reference to the "talent" for clothing design that Katniss adopts in the book. The Capital requires victors to pursue a "talent", since they don't need to work any more, and Katniss initially struggles since her best real talent is hunting. Then her designer Cinna steps in and supplies her with garments that she can claim to have designed herself. See more »

Honestly? Whats Up With thw BATTLE ROYALE 2 Ripoffs
When I watched this movie, many thoughts came to my mind, one particular was life is too short, so I stood up and walked out the cinema. After all, I had already seen this film when it was called "Mr. India" (1987) What is the point of re-making this movie? The cast is awful, The scenery is dreary, and there is no plot in this movie. Please do not say this movie is great, as the directors have only substituted one line in the whole screenplay: the title page. They have changed "Battle Royale" into "The Hunger Games".
Besides this, like all science fiction movies produced by America, such as Spider Man, super man, bat man etc. These movies show the American man as a superhero man. He always appears as the undefeated man. I believe that these movies have addressed a political message for the interest of America. The message is to intimidate its enemies. The message has become insisting especially having failed in its war on Iraq. America finds no any other alternative way to intimidate the world but by producing such ridiculous fiction movies. I believe that such movies only find success in the States. Watching such fiction movies and seeing that his dreams come true the American man feels satisfied.
