In every film of the trilogy, including this one, there are pigs somewhere. In The Hangover (2009), as Phil, Alan and Stu wake up in the trashed hotel suite, there is an inflatable pig in the bubble bath. In The Hangover Part II (2011), during the car chase through Bangkok, Chow crashes into a pig hanging on a meat stand and Stu gets covered in some of it. In The Hangover Part III (2013), Marshall's thugs wear pig masks. See more »
In reality, an average sized block of gold would weigh 27.5 pounds (12 kg). Assuming Chow has approx 20-40 blocks in each duffel bag, the total weight of each bag would be at least 550 pounds (240 kg). Not only would this obviously split the bags, but it would be utterly impossible for one man to carry one bag, let alone two. See more »
Did The Hangover Part 2 need to be made? No is the answer to that question, definitely not. Did The Hangover Part 3 need to be made? Well they went ahead and made the second one so I guess they had to make this one really. And while it wasn't The Hangover film I was hoping for, it's still a fitting finale to the trilogy.
So is the film funny I hear you cry...well kind of. Some of the jokes fall disastrously flat but the ones that work really do work. And as you'd expect, most of the humor is contributed by Zach Galifianakis as the ever eccentric Alan and Ken Jeong as the man of sheer chaos, Leslie Chow. Forget Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms' characters, Alan and Mr Chow are the stars of this show. Which was to be expected as the whole film is built around their exploits and curiously strange friendship.
So is this better than the second installment? Yes it is. Is it better than the original? Nowhere near. But you'll still have a great time if you're a fan of the franchise in general. The film's main set piece at Caesars Palace is worth the ticket price alone.
