Based on the best-selling novel by John Grisham, "The Firm" is a new drama series that continues the story of attorney Mitchell McDeere who, as a young associate 10 years earlier, had brought down the prestigious Memphis law firm of Bendini, Lambert & Locke, which had been operating as a front for the Chicago mob. After a difficult decade, which included a stay in the Federal Witness Protection Program, McDeere and his family now emerge from isolation to reclaim their lives and their future -- only to find that past dangers are still lurking and new threats are everywhere. Good TV!
14 January 2012 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

At first glance, this show appears to be heading downhill with your cliché flashback, & not just one, but two. For me personally, it can be off-putting as you're left wondering at what point the story will return to the present and how long that will take. A somewhat sluggishly directed chase scene at the very beginning can be slightly discouraging, however, things can only get better!

From the main actor to the rest of the cast as introduced in the pilot, they all portray their characters well and deliver good performances. It's not a perfect set-up and there's room for improvement as far as some of the guest appearances are concerned, but all in all a good show!

Would I recommend this show to friends? Yes and hopefully they keep delivering!
