It took me two years to finalize the draft of Singham 2, »

Prabhudheva is proudly calling the Usp of his next release R... Rajkumar to be featuring the youngest Bollywood actor (Shahid Kapoor) in a 'dhishoom dhishoom' avatar. With a backing being provided by Reliance Entertainment which will present the film, Ajay Devgn films will co-produce the film with Rohit Shetty. Salman Khan started it with Dabangg; Ajay Devgn had his own Singham to boast of while Akshay Kumar scored a major success with Rowdy Rathore. Rajkumar and what sets him apart from these men is the fact that he is the youngest leading man to do that. This is something which is making R... Rajkumar »

“Recently we (Rohit, Deepika Padukone and I) were driving back and we realised that we will not see each other as regularly after all this? And I told them I am feeling bad, as did Rohit and Deepika. So, Rohit asked if he should already start writing something, so that will give us something to look forward to. Even if it’s a year later, Rohit has said he will work on something”, said Srk. However when quizzed about it being a sequel to Chennai Express, he said, “Some other film may be, inshahAllah!”

Look. Indian cinema is like a massive bouquet of wildflowers of different colours and smells. You really can’t judge Policegiri, Sanjay Dutt’s hefty homage to hero-giri completed before his 3-year prison terms, against the soft gently-undulating movements of the week’s other release Lootera. If Vikramaditya Motwane’s film is soft-petalled rose Policegiri is a wild cactus flower from the desert.
Why cactus? The landscape is populated with pricks, you see.
It’s roaring 12-gun salute to the traditional mainstream cinema’s ongoing obsession with the corruption-cleansing cop who goes on a rampage. The anti-establishment figure from Prakash Mehra’s Zanjeer has been slyly transformed into the Khaki-coloured law-enforcer with shades of grey .
