New movies, television seasons, and comedy specials arriving on Netflix in November have been announced. Among the list are several new stand-up specials, recent Oscar-nominated films, and a John Tuturro-directed movie in which Woody Allen plays a pimp. Titles debuting on Nov. 1 including the Arnold Schwarzenegger original Total Recall, the ninth season of Fxx's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and The Rocketeer, the 1991 film that can often get lost amid the success of so many other superhero films. Looking for what's new on Netflix streaming for November? You've come to the right place.

We've rounded up the best TV shows and movies arriving soon. So take some time to peruse this list, and maybe block off a weekend or two so you can binge-watch Season 9 of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" or something. Codeblack, Datari Turner strike pact

The Lionsgate subsidiary has struck a first-look deal with Luv producer Datari Turner.

Under the deal Codeblack gets all distribution rights to Turner’s microbudget productions for North America, which Turner will produce through his Datari Turner Productions.

His credits include Sundance 2012 selection Luv (pictured), It’s A Disaster starring Julia Stiles and America Ferrera and the James Franco drama About Cherry.

“Datari has quickly established himself as a prolific producer with a keen ability to make powerful films that connect with moviegoers,” said Codeblack Films president Jeff Clanagan.   »

Lionsgate’s Codeblack Films has signed a first-look deal with independent producer Datari Turner.

Codeblack will have all distribution rights to Turner’s microbudget film productions throughout the U.S. and Canada. Turner will produce all films through his Datari Turner Productions banner.

“Datari has quickly established himself as a prolific producer with a keen ability to make powerful films that connect with moviegoers,” said Codeblack Films president Jeff Clanagan.

Turner’s credits include “Luv,” starring Common, Danny Glover and Dennis Haysbert; “It’s a Disaster,” starring Julia Stiles and America Ferrera; “Dysfunctional Friends”; “Video Girl,” starring Meagan Good and Ruby Dee; the James Franco drama “About Cherry”; “Kilimanjaro,” starring Brian Geraghty and Abigail Spencer; and “Another Happy Day,” starring Demi Moore, Ellen Barkin and Ellen Burstyn.

Luv and It’s A Disaster producer Datari Turner has scored a first-look deal with Codeblack Films, Lionsgate’s specialty arm geared toward black audiences. The agreement gives Codeblack all North America rights to Turner’s slate of microbudget films via his Datari Turner Productions shingle.

Since founding the company in 2010, Turner has produced Sundance pics Another Happy Day, Salvation Boulevard, and Luv, as well as the James Franco starrer About Cherry.
