Almost every episode someone calls the bar "The End of the World" and one of the main characters has to correct them by telling them it's called, "Ends of the Earth".
Two of Bones main characters make a cameo in the series. In episode 2, Dr. Lance Sweets. Episode 6 includes Dr. Jack Hodgins.
In the original Richard Greener novels, Isabel had been a New York Times obituary reporter with a stutter.
Saffron Burrows was slated to play the female lead, but she left the project before filming the television series. She did appear as Ike Latulippe, bartender/pilot) in the introduction to The Finder which occurred on the Bones television show (Season 6, Ep. 19).
