Storyline

Famed Charles Manson prosecutor and New York Times bestselling author Vincent Bugliosi makes the most powerful, explosive, and thought-provoking argument of his storied career. In "The Prosecution of an American President", Bugliosi presents a meticulously researched legal case that proves George W. Bush took our nation to war in Iraq under false pretenses and is therefore, under the law, guilty of murder for the deaths of 4,500 young American soldiers who fought and died there. Bush's unlawful war also cost the United States over a trillion dollars; alienated many of our allies; caused the deaths of over 100,000 innocent Iraqi men, women, and children; and pushed a previously tranquil nation into unending civil war, atrocities and chaos. As a prosecutor dedicated to seeking justice, Bugliosi delivers a non-partisan argument based on hard facts and pure objectivity. This searing indictment also outlines a legally credible pathway to holding our highest government officials accountable... Written by cougarah

Very powerful documentary, a must-see!

I've never believed that a solid legal case could be made against Bush. That is, until now. The author makes a compelling case that all legal requirements are met to bring the first-degree murder charges against Bush. Vincent Bugliosi presents his case in a completely non-partisan way. He does so solely as a prosecutor - a crime has been committed, therefore perpetrator(s) should be prosecuted. Can it be any other any way in a land that prides itself on its rule of law? Yet, there isn't even so much as an afterthought of indictment. The horrific legacy of George Bush will haunt United States for as long as we record history. If the US is inclined to maintain its position that it is morally, judicially and politically the leading power of the free world (which, by the way, I think is debatable) then it must put its money where its mouth is and indict Bush and his accomplices.

While watching the documentary, one will detach him/herself from politics, past and present. You will not see Bush as a Republican, but rather as a psychopath (and I am not saying that to insult or express my disgust with this individual; this is simply a diagnoses). A psychopath is a person who may appear to function normally, but it is devoid of sense of empathy and remorse; the movies shows that Bush fits this category perfectly. You will wonder how is it that a person can become a leader of the most powerful nation on earth and yet never undergo any psychological evaluation.

Watch this, no matter if you are a Republican or a Democrat.
