The barbershop is a special institution in African-American communities across America. The Black man's social club. A place where uncensored debate ranges from music, politics, entertainment and social issues. Join filmmaker Joe Doughrity ("Seven Days in Japan", "Akira's Hip Hop Shop", "CornerStore") as he chronicles the history of a particular shop in Los Angeles' Mid-Wilshire district.
