Plot Summary

The market town Braunschlag, on the outskirts of Austria close to the Czech Republic, is bankrupt. After a night of too much alcohol in the shabby town disco, the mayor, under pressure from state government and Russian mafia creditors, has an idea: Only a miracle can rescue his position of mayor and his town's fate. They just need to convince the local UFO-nut that he has had a Marian apparition, and the influx of pilgrims will fill their bank accounts.
