Riverdale, CW's Newest Superhero Show???

Ever since season 1 I have been a fan of the show, but this whole superpowers storyline they've been doing since returning back in March is a little weird.

The show went from a teen drama that usually had a creepy mystery type story each season. But now it feels like Riverdale is turning into a young adult superhero drama. Ever since March it seems like every episode someone else is getting powers. In this episode it was Cheryl's turn.

There has been stuff I've liked this season, and there has been stuff I haven't liked. For example, I like Archie and Betty officially being a couple. I don't like the magic and superpowers stuff. More superpowers than magic. It just feels weird, and way different from past seasons.

I don't know what is going to happen next, but season 6 is not turning out to be my favorite season. I don't know how the season is going to end, but if magic and superpowers are part of Riverdale now, what are we going to get in season 7?

The worst episode?

The fifth series was not very good. But in the end, it ended quite well. But now the sixth? The sixth part was pretty good, although it bothered me that they made them superheroes. The seventh part was weaker, but it wasn't completely bad either (the sixth and seventh parts were roughly at the level of the 5th row). The eighth part was terrible. Does Percival control human thoughts? What was that supposed to be? Part 9 brought a significant improvement. Yes, most things didn't make sense, but there was a lot going on and at times it was exciting. And this episode? He was absolutely awful. It makes me cry how the average fifth series could come after a great fourth series, but so far a terrible sixth series. None of this made sense, I didn't enjoy it and I found it awkward. Perhaps the worst part of Riverdale. And I really don't understand the high rating here.

Metaphoricly the audience is Percival?

I "somehow" got the feeling the gang is the crew of Reiverdale (I mean the showrunners), and Percival is the critical audience, from whom Mr. Correra tries to save his dream, pet-project, or whatever.

That's certainly not a good sign for the show, which in this season just recycles itself in a neverending downward spiral.

Finding some answers

So, now we know more about Percival, we know how to fight him and we are creating a resistance. I liked all of that. I am enjoying this season a lot.

Which I did not like was the fight. As far as I know, Palladium does not male Archie a weak person, only takes his superpowers away. So, he is a trained boxer, one who won many fights before. I see no way he would lose against Percival, unless Percival has super strenght of his own. At least, I cannot see him losing so catastrophically. I mean, that is, Archie was not superpowered in the ring, but, per Riverdale backstory, he is still a hell of a boxer, and someone strong enough to face a bear.

I am glad the possession story seems to be over, and I like pyrochinetic Cheryl. Now, I want all the superpowered people, plus the three clever girsl, to teach Percival a lesson.

I just need more Jughead. Even when a cool superpower, he seems somewhat wasted.

This is shockingly awful. So they have powers now?!?!

I love a superhero show, but when it's that from the start. They've had witches, magic, now powers. It's like they cannot find their place so they keep changing the storyline. I can't cope.

This villain is doing my head in too. Why are they always British haha.

I'm only watching it because it's been cancelled and I want to see how it ends.

Also, I've never known a place to have so many flipping meetings!

Do they not have anything else to do in Riverdale?? Clearly not.

Awful episode!!

First the glove was not checked before the match?

Two They know that Percy guy is controlling mind, but they sleep like babies.... Yeah normal, haven't they learned anything over the years??!!

Three Archie can resist bullet and he is supposed to be a great fighter, still he loosed? Even if it was obvious he was going to loose.

Four isn't jug supposed to read people minds? But he knows about the palladium in Percy mind?!!

It is so annoying that they do the same plot in every season.

So it's a very bad episode like the last seasons.
