It's time for calling in all political favors when the chips are down
for Mr. Nucky. Mrs. Schroeder proves her weight much more than the
usual mistress.
I just love N's spurned ex-girlfriend. She is giving a terrific
performance, not only as a spurned lover, but as the very much
pregnant, desolate woman being kept by that agent. Al Jolson's
recordings play on as she laments her faith. If she keeps this up, this
should pave the way for a supporting Emmy nomination at the next award
ceremony in a year from now.
Jimmy shows that he can still be the fatherly type while totally
immersed in the rackets.
