In the time of Ireland's Great Famine, an elderly gravedigger revisits a traumatic event through the decaying visions of his fragmented dreams.
The sepia color scheme is very well done, and helps sell the silent feel they were going for. The costumes and everything are very good. A lot of time and work was put into this to make it look old.
However, it is sort of boring (slow motion is used a lot to drag out scenes for no reason), there is no discernible plot whatsoever, and it is the kind of thing that would lose impatient audiences quickly. One could say it is "the Koyaanisgatsi of horror", but in all fairness, this was not much of a horror film beyond the theme of death and despair.
