Very stylish and beautifully done Russian animation, directed by the great Ideya Garanina (Who also made the wonderful short "Cabaret")which has some resemblance with the works of Kihachiro Kawamoto.

The quality of the animation is simply stunning, capturing perfectly well the essence of the Japanese folk tale in which this short was inspired.

Every single aspect of "Crane Feathers" is simply flawless, being incredibly whimsical and captivating from beginning to end.

"Crane Feathers" is an exquisite work of art which deserves way more appreciation and recognition. In my opinion, this is one of the best animations ever made.
