suspense episode but predictable
smoon-3778917 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
First off it was obvious that Maggie (Missy P) was pregnant the past few episodes as they tried hard to hide her body (congrats by the way!!) - she is mainly the reason I watch the show .. so to see them use this episode as a way for her to focus on her maternity leave was a good write but WAY too predictable ... I hope she comes back to the show as I think her and OA just need to get their tension out of the way with one good round .. then again, Scola is my favorite character and i will be intrigued if the writers bring back some more tension between him and Nina (big One Tree Hill fan!)

Doing the Best to Overthrow the Government
shelbythuylinh20 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
When a security guard is gunned down and how that it was near the federal reserve bank and how he was part of a conspiracy group who felt the US Government was against them.

Through the group's loved ones as at first they play coy and understandingly not want anything to do with it. But of course, the FBI is smart enough and warn perjury to the feds is a no no and prison time as the families have to cave in and look at the bigger picture there.

Maggie and OA try to risk their own lives as we find out about OA's "biggest fear" there. You have to watch to see it you all.

Love it!

First of all, if you don't like the show, why are you watching it? I watch TV for entertainment, and this was an entertaining and exciting episode! By the way, FBI is not a reality show!

Sarin gas is the deadliest weapon?
waagtod-7549122 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
First, the prepper who sold them the weapon had to be the most gullible fool to ever amass a cache of weapons. The reason you are a prepper is usually paranoia, he was naive and totally unprepared.

Then i think we heard that Sarin was "the deadliest weapon known to man " at least 5 times, yet the FBI didn't distribute safety gear to the squad they sent to find it?

Finally, Maggie is trapped in the lab, when the gas is falling to the floor but she doesn't try to escape until it's too late. Then she is panicking, breathing hard as she waits for Omar to shoot at the obviously impact glass, make a phone call to get instructions on the injections that were so critical, but not so critical as to tell him how to use it, then use something that was always there to finally smash open the window. Has to be 5 to 10 minutes. He drags her out to the help that was 25 minutes away. Both live.

Either Sarin isn't that dangerous, or the FBI has magical protection. I can suspend my doubts at certain things, like the fact that 4 people in the FBI seemingly do 90% of all the work but this stuff is over the top. If it is totally unbelievable it isn't a good script. Like the show, just not this episode.

Check out Trivia for this episode!
CrimeDrama121 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Now I know why the writers had Maggie exposed to Sarin gas but apparently survive. It doesn't affect my review or rating.

The opening scene is ridiculous. A federal reserve bank guard has no one to protect him during a shady deal involving a banned chemical weapon and he pays the ultimate price. He never thought for one second that he would be considered a loose end? This makes the guard look like a moron. Why would you trust someone interested in using a Sarin gas weapon, at all? Nothing good can come from such a weapon. The guard expressed concerns that the buyer not use the weapon in America but why would he think it would be easy for them to get it out of the country? We soon find out that the guard was preparing for a revolution and had a stockpile of weapons but was he unarmed at the exchange? It also begs the question, how did the guard stay under the radar with his employer, the federal government? This episode may be a dealbreaker for me as the show has gotten worse and worse this season. Believability has gone out the window. New York City residents are probably upset with the portrayal of the man with his cellphone filming the FBI confronting one of the terrorists. Scola yells at him to step aside but the idiot just stands there like a statue AND doesn't say anything. You'd have to be a complete moron to stand in the immediate background of two federal agents pointing their guns in your direction AND ignore a command from a federal agent. In reality, that idiot could be charged with obstructing a federal investigation.

Even given the revelation in trivia, I don't agree with how the final showdown with the terrorist was scripted. I don't believe agents would ever be ordered to enter a building that more than likely has chemical weapons inside without having any PPE. Sending in a robot or a drone makes sense and once agents realize that Sarin gas was put into hand-held sprayers, all they need to do is surround the building and wait for safety equipment and SWAT. The terrorist has no PPE either but he may have planned this as a suicide mission. With Maggie hospitalized, I would like the see O. A. questioning the order his boss gave to enter the building without safety equipment. Once again, believability is sacrificed in the hopes of adding more drama/conflict. The show is also not reflecting the reality of the mask mandate in New York City at the time of filming. It would seem likely that the agents would have easy access to a mask - even in their squad car. I still have masks in my car and my jacket. I have no plans to make any changes. The scene involving O. A. getting emotional while standing next to Maggie's hospital bed and telling her how he feels was powerful. However, it wasn't enough to improve my rating.

Bad acting
sarahbecker-9885722 April 2022
I'm not even an actor and I could do a better job making these scenes better. It is almost impossible to watch this show with the writers and bad acting. Granted some of the episodes a good but a majority are very bad.
