Musically Painful
21 September 2013 | by See all my reviews

Hair Bear Bunch, Hillbilly Bears, Jett Screamer on the Jetsons, several songs on the Flintstones, Where's Huddles, and of course, Scooby Doo and Josie & the Pussycats, all made these futile attempts to get novelty songs on the pop charts.

And they were annoying!!! Make no doubt about that! This was Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm's offering.

Bamm-Bamm can only sing in the shower, so we are subjected to 'good singing in the shower' and 'bad singing out of the shower'.

Truth be told, Bamm-Bamm singing in the shower is a sort of crooning and not overly striking to begin with.

Then we get a strange bit with Bamm Bamm repeating what he sings after an attempt to cure him from being able to only sing while in the shower. Again, as tho this will be some sort of novelty.

TOSS INTO THAT, the mototrcycle gang's song of which we really only get about one verse, but we get it over and over, AGAIN, seeking that quick novelty song.

Somehow the show manages to pull off a typical cartoon episode of the time, but all of that singing? Want to edit this episode down for commercials? Cut out the songs.
