Travis is shown in Dexter's apartment looking at a flyer for the pageant which takes place that day, on October 8, 2011. Previously, in Ricochet Rabbit (2011), Dexter posted on Geller's blog on Sunday, November 24.
The escape boat is loaded with six containers that fully explode in the center of the ring of fire. The explosion is large enough to destroy the small boat. Dexter swims away from the fire ring with no sign of debris that would be the remains that would be the bow large enough to support Dexter.
According to his driver's license, Dexter was born on February 1st, 1971, indicating that he would have started the first grade in 1977 and graduated from high school in 1989. But he graduated with the class of 1991, as seen previously.
There were no solar eclipses in October or November in 2011.
When Dexter is swimming after the bow of the boat sinks, the shadow of a tower can be seen in the water.
When Debra arrives on the Transcore tower, and sees the dead officer, she calls a 10-1. This is incorrect as a 10-1 police code signifies 'Unable Copy - Change Location'. The code she should have used was 10-00 to indicate an 'officer down'.
"Codes vary by state, county, and agency. It is rare to find two agencies with exactly the same ten-codes, signals, incident codes, or other status codes."

Near the end, Dexter finds an old sword, used earlier for slashing a man to death on screen. A close-up on the blade shows it's completely flat and blunt, and is likely made out of sheet metal. Also, moments later Dexter is shown pressing a knife against a man's forehead, and the blade bends significantly, revealing it's made out of rubber/plastic.
The expiration date on Dexters driver's license is 09-23-2011. The date indicated by the pageant flyer is October 8, 2011. It is against Harry's Code to risk being caught with an expired license. In the interest of self-preservation, he should and would have made time to renew his license.
