Meet Hera, Star Wars Rebels' Twi'lek pilot

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we've got our final character introduction featurette for Disney and Lucasfilm's animated series Star Wars Rebels, which unveils Hera, a Twi'lek who serves as the pilot for the Ghost crew of rebels and will be voiced by Vanessa Marshall.

"She is a very strong-minded character," revealed Star Wars Rebels executive producer Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars. "Kind of the heart of the group, keeps everyone together when they would otherwise fall apart."

We've seen a few propaganda posters and behind-the-scenes featurettes, but now Disney and Lucasfilm Animation has given us our first proper look at the upcoming Star Wars Rebels with two thirty-second teaser promos featuring the young hero Ezra Bridger (Taylor Gray), along with a brief glimpse at 'cowboy Jedi' Kanan (Freddie Prinze Jr.) and 'grumpy astromech Chopper....

We got our first look at Star Wars Rebels' "cowboy Jedi" Kanan (Freddie Prinze Jr.) earlier this week, and now Lucasfilm Animation has unveiled another new character in 14-year-old con artist turned hero Ezra Bridger, who'll be voiced  by Taylor Gray (Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures)...

Meet Kanan, Star Wars Rebels' Cowboy Jedi

Disney and Lucasfilm have given us our first look at another new character set to feature in the upcoming animated series Star Wars Rebels, revealing a first look image and featurette via USA Today that's centred around the 'Cowboy Jedi' Kanan, voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr. (Scooby-Doo, 24)....

We've already seen a couple of shots of the new big bad The Insquisitor from the upcoming animated series Star Wars Rebels, and now Disney and Lucasfilm have unveiled another new character, the R2-D2-inspired Chopper. Here's some images of the "grumpy" astromech, followed by a video with executive producer Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) introducing the character...

It's a good time to be a Star Wars fan, what with  Star Wars: Episode VII on the horizon and the new animated series Star Wars Rebels due to premiere on Disney Xd this year.
