Despite rumors that Hayden Panettiere and her boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko are engaged, the "Nashville" star saying that they aren't true. The couple attended the 2013 Billboard Music Awards together, but Panettiere was missing one key accessory that would confirm they're planning to tie the knot.

"No ring," Panettiere tells E! News when asked if she and Klitschko are planning on getting hitched.

The rumors of Panettiere's engagement started when an Us Weekly source claimed that the actress and Klitschko are planning their wedding in secret. "Very few people know, and she isn't wearing her ring publicly yet," the insider says. That makes Panettiere's "no ring" comment not entirely a denial, so it remains to be seen if a marriage actually is in her future. Panettiere and Klitschko have been dating off-and-on since 2009. »

Hayden Panettiere finally addressed those pesky engagement rumors while at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, but the actress did not offer a straight "yes" or "no."

E! News caught up with the "Nashville" star on the blue carpet at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena and asked if she is set to walk down the aisle with boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko anytime soon.

"No ring!" said Panettiere, brushing aside the rumors with a noncommittal response. She held up both bare hands to show she wasn't wearing an engagement ring. But keen eyes could see the sparkly diamond band the 23-year-old received from her boxer beau was also noticeably missing.

Word spread that Panettiere and Klitschko are engaged after the actress was spotted wearing a thick platinum band featuring several rows of brilliant diamonds to the ABC upfront event in New York City last week, People magazine notes.

Hayden Panettiere and heavyweight professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko are rumored to be secretly engaged, and a new interview with Glamour magazine isn't doing anything to dispel those rumors.

The 23-year-old actress reconciled with Klitschko, 37, in February after breaking things off in May 2011, and it looks like the couple are very serious about each other this time around. The "Nashville" star was seen sporting a very sparkly ring the other day, and told Glamour magazine that while she doesn't have a set plan, she was "born to be a mother."

Los Angeles, March 28: Actress Hayden Panettiere is reportedly engaged to her boxer boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko.

Known for playing cheerleader Claire Bennet on the NBC series "Heroes", she started dating Klitschko in 2009, but they called off the relationship in 2011 before reconciling earlier this year, reports contactmusic.com.

UsMagazine.com reports that the 23-year-old Nashville star and the Ukrainian champion are planning to cement their union with a summer wedding.

Hayden Panettiere was caught kissing her much older, and much taller (he's 6 feet, 6 inches), former beau Wladimir Klitschko at the Miami Heat game in Miami, Fla., on March 24. The on-again couple was all smiles as they cuddled up courtside, proving -- after weeks of rumors -- that they're officially back on.

Panettiere, 23, and Klitschko, a heavyweight boxing world champion, 37, split in May 2011 after dating for two years.

"Even though we've decided splitting up is best for both of us, we have an amazing amount of love and respect for each other and remain very close friends," the "Nashville" star said in a statement following the breakup, with Klitschko citing distance as a problem.

Still, it appears the pair really did remain close buds -- considering their relationship looks to be heating up once again.

The 5-foot-2-inch actress posted a photo of herself standing next to a giant SUV on Twitter yesterday, boasting that her "Napoleon syndrome" won't stop her from possibly buying the vehicle.

"Nashville" star Hayden Panettiere has reportedly reunited with ex-boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko.

TMZ reports that Klitschko, a 6'6" Ukrainian World Boxing Organization champ, dropped Panettiere off at the airport and they asked her about the relationship on camera. Draw your own conclusions from her giggle fit. TMZ certainly did.
