Horrible sensationalizing of evil
22 March 2013 | by See all my reviews

World without End is a travesty of a production. I loved the book and this takes too many liberties from the book to warrant any other score of one. The characters are incredibly over dramatized in such an evil light. What has this world come to that we need to see a naked prior humping his cousin's bed after he convicted her of witchcraft. Absolute farce of a production. The writers and producers should be ashamed of themselves. Why would you focus only on the negative? It should be removed from distribution. Every episode had a rape. Why do we need to see a women being raped every episode? And the excuse that they are trying to portray the show as historical accurate is pure crap. I'm a history professor. I could go on and on but I should probably end the review. I'm all fired up! (Sorry but the show disappointed me so much that I had to write this review.)
