Well, i felt compelled to write something about this, less about the show but the star itself. As a Fan , i find the whole show interesting, lots of stuff no other Filmstar would dare to show you, and more than a Fan maybe wants to know. In short, Van Damme seems a W R E C K , at least once in each episode( i have seen six so far). Due to him being a grand bi-polar, and adding his own disappointment about the mistakes he's made into the mix, he displays that in a big way more often than one would like to see...he "needs " this fight against Kamsing(he thinks)to prove to his Fans and himself, that he still has it...but one wants to argue that that isn't needed, since he never was a professional kick-boxer and nowhere near the abilities of a S.Kamsing, who won Olympic gold in his active time. I would wanna shake him and drag him to a doctor, a therapist to clear him of the delusion he has about that fight and to realize that his biggest problems are within his head. Sure, guilt is a bitch, but thats the wrong way of addressing or curing that. He indeed has a great family, especially his wife...and i guess he knows that. There are better ways to get over the fxxx up he oh so regrets...and it sure blows to throw away a big movie deal and to destroy your health with lots of cocaine. He still has great ambition, still seems arrogant sometimes-even though he goes to great length claiming otherwise. He claimed to wanna do better movies-did not happen....the industry isn't too keen on 80s action stars anymore..and the only chance at reviving that( THE EXPENDABLES), he blew off"whats my role?" He should focus on his mental health and indeed take some time off as he himself proclaimed he wants to. Be happy you're still alive , JC. I rate this 10, because this is relevant to my interests.
