The Cinema Snob (2009)

"The Italian Stallion"

In this now long-running series, writer-director Brad Jones play the title character, the Cinema Snob, a mainstream or high art critic who decides to review some of the most notoriously bad movies ever made. Since the original episode this series has grown to have a very high cult following and fans from around the world.

The Snob reviews the somewhat infamous porn movie that became known as THE Italian STALLION, which was a re-release title. Why was the film re-released? Because it featured Sylvester Stallone and they wanted to capitalize on his new found fame in ROCKY. As far as the episode goes, it's more of a curiosity piece just like the feature itself. The Snob really doesn't attack the film too hard and instead just talks about its history and a couple strange scenes in it. On his blog, he even mentions that this was mainly reviewed to get hits, which is understandable. There's really nothing too funny here but it's still a good review.
