Cobalt's Sky is an endearing love story revolving around the off-colored life of a colorful carnival owner, Steven Cobalt. One night while parading around the fairground, as usual dressed as a clown, he happens to run into a customer, June Summers, a stoic and rigid young journalist. Repulsed by his forwardness, but attracted to his hypnotic blue eyes and charismatic charm, June cannot shake the impression the clown makes in her mind. She finds herself intrigued by this character and eventually finds herself in a quagmire of uncompromising situations. Cobalt falls madly in love with June. Becoming obsessed he gives up everything he owns in an effort to win her heart. Nothing he does seems to impress her, though. Her old fashioned opinions over shadow the possibility of her allowing her heart to fall in love with the problematic man.
