Very well done considering the limitations of their particular medium and budget

I recently saw this short film as part of the first annual iPhone Film Festival. According to the filmmakers, they only had 1 hour to shoot on the hospital location and literally a zero budget. Considering these limitations, the director Craig Anthony Perkins did an excellent job! This entire film was apparently shot on the iPhone 4 and in some scenes this is obvious (due to the low light graininess of most of the footage) but the variety and professionalism of the shots that he achieved along with the professional level editing and the stellar sound design and music, which on it's own, perfectly suits the atmosphere and mood of the "ghost story" subject, makes this little film an absolute winner in my book! The actress did a fine job as well, though there is no dialog, so it is mostly just her walking through the hospital and reacting to the environment, but nothing indicated what would normally be a cheesy bit of acting for this type of low budget indie short. Everyone involved seems to have done a professional level job of executing their vision, especially considering this was all done on a cell phone! (this fact alone still blows me away!) Well worth taking the 2 minutes out of your day to watch for free on the film festival websites. Just wish it was longer and wish they explored the story more... still, job well done!
