With the outcome of the murder trial of mob boss Nick Zappata (Al Sapienza) at stake, Toby (Craig Olejnik) is enlisted to weigh the testimony of the star witness, restaurant chef Dylan Morris (Dean Armstrong). When the Crown Council learns of Zappata's connection to a money-laundering crime syndicate, Michelle (Lauren Lee Smith) is persuaded to re-question Zappata. Zappata's version of the events differs slightly from Dylan and his cousin's version, leading Michelle and Toby to believe that Zappata may not have pulled the trigger after all. On the eve of the trial, Dylan asks to cook one last supper for his faithful staff -- his cousin Jack (Romano Orzari) and sous chef Magda (Genelle Williams). Michelle grants him the request under one condition - that Toby is invited. Toby, together with all of the players, must carefully test and jog the memories of each witness, in the hopes of discovering the real shooter before the night is over. Oz (Ennis Esmer) does Sandy (Tara Spencer-Nairn) a favour by looking after her niece's pet ferret, but then makes the mistake of shifting that responsibility to Toby.
Toby (Craig Olejnik) is brought in to authenticate the testimony of a star witness - a celebrated restaurant chef - in the trial of a mob boss charged with shooting his business partner.
