Courtney Wells (as Sonequa Martin)

Will and Alicia defend a man accused of killing a judge who had ruled against him in a civil suit. A key piece of evidence - a bloody glove - is missing in the case but suddenly turns up in the mail at Lockhart Gardner and lands on Alicia's desk. The jury is already deliberating and they have little time. They review the cases where the judges may have taken bribes and have the glove DNA-tested, with surprising results. Meanwhile, the local Democratic committee wants to keep Eli Gold around and manage Peter Florrick's next election, this time for Statewide office. He decides to set himself up at Lockhart Gardner. Can't Argue With this Season's Finale Closing (Arguments) ***1/2
18 May 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

While Kalinda and Alicia have to put aside their differences in a murder trial, this is only a sidebar issue in this season's finale.

There is definitely a romantic interlude between Will and Alicia as the series goes on summer hiatus. That elevator scene was memorable, as the two seem to be falling for each other.

Jane Alexander guest starred as the judge in the trial. We learned that in a killing of a judge, any review board will show no sympathy whatsoever to a convicted person's appeal.

Everyone seems to be in the act this time. Baransky is handing out orders; Kalinda shows her lesbian tendencies; Cary is still sneering, and District-Attorney-Elect Peter Florrick will soon be taking over.
