This was one of the best episodes of this well-done show this season.
The show again proves the old adage that hell hath no fury for a woman who has been scorned. Upon learning that Kalinda slept with husband Peter, Alicia packs his goods and signs a lease for him in an apartment, high rent included. It appears that she has done this now that the election is over. Never is it revealed that she found out at the moment of his election of his infidelity with Kalinda. By the way, has anyone questioned why Pete would do this to his very hot, sexy wife and bed down Kalinda (Archie Pujabi), the latter showing very little sex appeal, if any.
The above is just a sidebar to the true story of the evening. A woman dying of liver failure denied a liver transplant. With all the possibilities concerning this case, it all boiled down to a doctor's bias. Even those who we have entrusted to heal us can be bigots as well. As the opposing lawyer then suing her company for firing her due to her pregnancy, Martha Plimpton is excellent as a guest star.
As Cary, Matt Czury shows that he can be quite vicious. It's still on his mind that he had been pushed out due to Alicia. When he doesn't take the job at Lockhart-Gardner, he comes to Pete, the State Attorney General-elect and he is ready to give him plenty of dirt as the episode ends.
