This two part documentary series begins by explaining the workings of The Jeremy Kyle show, the pressure that was put on everyone to 'perform,' and it explains some of the detail into the tragic death, which resulted in the show's cancellation.
There is definitely a degree of hypocrisy here, the members of the public that appeared on the show, let's face it to be shouted at and ridiculed, are once again put straight into the limelight, for some of these poor people it seemed the only place they had left to go, was onto this human circus of a show.
I'm a little perplexed as to the sudden feelings of irritation that some have towards the show, anyone that claims to be unaware of what would happen on the show, how they'd be shouted at, and patronised etc, do me a favour, fourteen years of that man's ego being boosted by shouting and screaming at the great British unemployed, people knew full well what they were going on that show for.
An interesting watch, although I would say this first half is a biased presentation, it was definitely a show about exploitation, but come on it was mutual exploitation, one of the commentators explained, £500 for a lie detector test, or free on the JK show?
I'm not sure I was surprised by anything here, all that came out, I'd have thought was pretty obvious, 6/10.
