Legendary Digital Studios and YouTube have partnered on the feature length thriller “The Thinning,” starring digital influencer Logan Paul and Disney Channel star Peyton List. The movie will premiere on YouTube Red, the company’s subscription service, later this year.

Disney Channel Sets Season 2 Premiere Date for ‘Jessie’ Spinoff ‘Bunk’D’

Season 2 of Disney Channel’s hit comedy series “Bunk’D” will debut this summer, Variety has learned exclusively.

“Bunk’D” — which is the spinoff to Disney’s popular Debby Ryan show “Jessie” — will be back on Tuesday, Aug. 23 with a new episode premiering each night at 8 p.m. through Friday, Aug. 26.

Following the jam-packed week of episodes, the series will return in its normal Friday night 8 p.m. timeslot on Sept. 16.

“In Season 2, our ‘Bunk’D’ characters will have even bigger adventures and even more fun. They will meet some great new campers, face new challenges, and continue to grow and experience life lessons, while strengthening and forming new lasting friendships,” said Pamela Eells O’Connell, creator and exec producer of the series, who also created “Jessie” and was a producer on Disney’s “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.”

Disney star Cameron Boyce is being admitted to CBS’ “Code Black” for a guest star role, Variety has learned exclusively.

Best known for his lead roles in Disney Channel original movie “Descendants” and Disney Xd series “Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything,” Boyce will appear in the 17th episode of the CBS medical drama, scheduled to air on February 17.
