Storyline

On her way to and from work, Amy passes a Justice for Janitors picket line at a Riverside Hotel. She has her own labor issues: on the Monday following his party at a bar, Dougie reports Amy to HR for tardiness and her poor quality work. In her defense, she tells HR about his behavior. This generates an inquiry in which each Cogentiva team member is interviewed about Dougie. After Tyler pushes her away, Amy's certain that no one will back her side of the story. She's certain she'll be fired and, in desperation, asks Krista to get her a meeting with Damon, pitches an idea to Judy at an inappropriate time, and decides to find out what the Cogentiva unit actually does.

Perfect description of Amy

This episode is perhaps the show's finest yet. The perfect blend of comedy and drama, and it also has the most tense moments in the show yet. One can say that the actions of episode 7 certainly will have repercussions. This is the perfect episode to show what kind of character Amy is. You want her to succeed, but so many times she goes about things the completely wrong way. She has good intentions, but she is so unaware of how selfishly she goes about them. She is perhaps the most confusing and unpredictable character on television, and this episode in particular one doesn't know what she will do next. The most unsettling and one of the funniest episodes of the series yet.
