An abandoned baby case leads SVU to a "reproductive abuser" who has over 20 children.
Yes, the other reviewers were right - this episode was pretty weak.
The icing on the cake was seeing Aussie model, Alyssa Sutherland get a small speaking role.
Now, I don't mind her as a model - and was quite happy to see an Aussie girl get a part in a big US show. However, the Daily Telegraph writer who claimed that "Acting classes have paid off for Aussie model Alyssa Sutherland." is full of crap; Similarly, "The Fashion Spot" members who mirrored the sentiments of this fluff piece.
She was awkward and hammy. I've seen teenagers who were "volunteered" for school plays who were more convincing in their roles. I wasn't quite sure if she was trying to use her natural voice (i.e. maybe it really is a mash-up of Aussie/English/US accents these days), or whether she had tried to conceal her Aussie accent and given up half-way through. Honestly, I was embarrassed for her.
Yes, it was nice to see her get a part...but it's too bad she couldn't deliver. That being said - it was a pretty disappointing episode all up, so it's not like she ruined something good.
