Mistakes (technical) at the end of the episode
26 June 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Great episode, but I was surprised that one of my favorite show made so many technical/trivia errors in the last 5 minutes or so of the show. 1) When Mac and the other cop (played by Peter Fonda) were run into by the villain's vehicle, it showed broken plate glass in at least the windshield of Mac's car - with a jaggedly patter instead of safety windshield glass the is made of 2 layers of glass with a layer of plastic (of some form) in between so it SHOULD have just busted away in the accident, so they shouldn't have had ANY glass in front of them, if there was it would be pieces with a square shape, not plate glass. 1) The villain as usual never ran out of ammo in a gun with a 30 round magazine. Many TV shows and movies are guilty of the "endless clip" error. 2) Mac didn't have ANY extra magazines for his primary gun, all cops I know and see have 2 extra magazines in a holder on their belt, held closed by Velcro - I have them same setup for my pistols. I always had two backup loaded magazines when I was in law enforcement and I still do when I target shoot. 3) When Mac pulled his "backup"/hideaway gun - presumably from an ankle holster (most common location) - I COULD NOT BELIEVE this mistake - this backup pistol only had THREE bullets in it, not the full FIVE rounds ANY COP would have had, especially since it's only a 38 special, not as powerful as Mac's primary gun a Glock 40 caliber. Usually this show is very realistic, this one just had several technical errors within the last 5 minutes or so, which is a lot for such a short time.
