I have a previous Blu-ray of 1984’s Dreamscape but this edition is a big improvement, both in the transfer and its extras. Dreamscape is a commercially successful thriller that places a superior star cast in a science fantasy with plenty of potential.

The Oliver Twins place unreleased 1992 game Dream World Pogie on the web for free, Kickstarter coming soon

As you may already know currently taking place is “Let’s Go Dizzy – An evening with the Oliver Twins” at the National Videogame Arcade in Nottingham, to celebrate the launch of Chris Wilkins latest book. Well also just announced, from both Philip and Andrew Oliver, is that an unreleased game of theirs called Dream World Pogie”has just been placed online, and there is a chance you will be able to own it on an Nes Cartridge, thanks to an upcoming Kickstarter.

Take a watch of the video below to see not only a loft that nearly all Retrogamers would like to find themselves locked in for 24 hours, but also how Dream World Pogie came to be. This colourful, and rather speedy looking game never made it to the shelves back in 1992 and the reasons why are all explained in Let’s Go Dizzy – The Story of The Oliver Twins by Chris Wilkins.

Kirby: Planet Robobot Announced And Monster Hunter X Is Heading West

Kirby is getting a new game titled Kirby: Planet Robobot.

The game includes Kriby’s standard moves of sucking up things, but the story revolves around mechanized enemies taking over Dream World. So in order to fend them off Kirby must use the technology against them, allowing Kirby to utilize new tools.

The game also has a mode titled Team Kirby Clash, where up to 4 players can team up in a co-op experience to take on boss battles. Each player selects a role they would like to play to support their team and take down boss battles.

The game also works with several Amiibo figures to give Kirby special abilities. A new line of Amiibo’s including Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight

2012 Atlanta Underground Film Festival: Official Lineup

For their 9th annual edition, the Atlanta Underground Film Festival will be assaulting the south from its Goat Farm Arts Center screening center on Sep. 13-16 with four days and nights of independent feature films, shorts and documentaries.

Some of the feature films screening include Lisa Duva’s multi-dimensional Cat Scratch Fever, Jason Lapeyre’s thriller Cold Blooded and Brady Hall’s hilariously named Hello, My Name Is Dick Licker.

This year’s Auff is also packed to the gills with short films with multiple blocks of shorts screening per day. Some of the special ones to look out for are Neil Ira Needleman‘s A Few Words in Favor of God, Jim Haverkamp‘s When Walt Whitman Was a Little Girl and Mike Salva‘s award-winning animated short Pound Dogs.
