Happy Thoughts....A stand up transcended from the best in the business!
15 April 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Daniel Tosh has a style and flow that easily makes him one of the best comedians on the planet, maybe that ever lived. Certainly, it's hard to compare his work to say, Bill Hicks or George Carlin as it would be like comparing apples to oranges. But the stand up Happy Thoughts has an array of amazing examples of how a comedian is supposed to go about drawing the line, then intentionally flying past it at a million miles an hour! You can actually see him looking out into the audience as if to watch the reactions before and after he delivers some of the most hilarious, and insightful punchlines, then takes them to 5 higher levels of detail, narrowing his jokes down to maybe only one other person in the room that can understand what he's saying. But that's what I love about Daniel. He speaks his hilarious mind, doesn't apologize for it, and then comments on any boo's or comments made on his comments! It's like watching him battle off societies ridiculous rules of what we should and shouldn't say in front of your eyes. Bottom line, the people that are rating this special any lower then a 9.1 really aren't into this style of comedy. Which is Bill Hicks, Dave Chappelle and Carlin all rolled into one but still very insightfully delivered by his own fun-loving joke telling style.

Daniel Tosh.... you are one of my new top 5 comedians of all time, and trust me, that's saying a lot!!!!!!
