An Extended Metaphor
This short religious film is an eight-minute sermon, followed by a small chorus singing "Over There." It is of that type of movie called "Radio with Pictures"; were you to hear it over the radio, it would be pretty much complete as it is.
Since, however, it is intended for a different audience, it has pictures. There is little motion and much editing and much expansion of John 10:9; "Jesus said, "I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." So we get pictures of doors -- mostly an empty door frame with stars on a backdrop and people entering it. Sometimes they carry objects with large labels, like a brown-paper-wrapped box with "Sin" on it, which must disappear before they can get through the door.
While it may please religious Christians, it is not a particularly good movie. Although the editing is occasionally decent, it is all done in a very stagy manner.
