Storyline

A costumed comics convention superhero fell to his death, pushed from his hotel balcony, but only as the victim of a drunk rooms mix-up. The team must work out how a ransacked room, no robbery, compromising pictures and adultery fit together. Steve rightly mistrusts a self-styled CIA-agent, works out she's a mere analyst and not even assigned, but decides to collaborate as she has indications his father's killer may have worked for Yakuza boss Wo Fat. Danny grumpily started dieting for his worried brat's sake. Written by KGF Vissers

Goofs

At the comic convention, there is a man in a blue wizard costume seen over Danno's shoulder walking towards him, from about 15 feet behind, just as Danno turns his head. As the camera angle changes, the man in the blue wizard costume has already passed Danno and is passing McGarrett. There is no way he could have traveled that far in less than half a second. Quotes

Kono Kalakaua: "You don't find Johnny. He finds you."
Danny 'Danno' Williams: You're gonna quote this schmuck now?
Kono Kalakaua: I can spoof Tiffany's cell and make it look like she's sending him a text.
Danny 'Danno' Williams: Lure him here. I like it. But move over please. Because I'm gonna do this. Because it should be very filthy and you're a young lady.

I really liked this episode!
22 March 2011 | by (Winnipeg) – See all my reviews

I really liked this episode! The storyline is great. Five o finds a dead body, and first believes the ex-husband is the perpetrator. The plot twist leads into finding a professional thief who unknowingly has evidence for a murder case. The merged C I A sub-story follows the series plot line about the captain's murdered parents. The captain is introduced to his arch nemesis; An uncomfortable sit down for the captain. Who ordered the murders and what happens is unrevealed, and leaves the viewer hanging. The viewer needs to watch further episodes to find out about the captain's parents. A great plot device. I give this episode 9 out of 10.
