Whitney Cummings Goes Topless After Gaining 25 Pounds

31 July 2015 10:45 AM, PDT | TooFab | See recent TooFab news »

The pressures to succumb to society’s "skinny" standards are greater now than they’ve ever been before. With actresses and models posting pics of their petite figures left and right, it’s easy for women to compare – and resent – their own bods. But Whitney Cummings isn’t about that life. The 32-year-old comedienne took to Instagram today to proudly show off her recent 25 pound weight gain by going topless. And man, does she look awesome. "I did this weird thing that nobody likes to do anymore where I gained weight," she said to Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on "Today" earlier this week. "I gained like 25 pounds, which I think I needed to." The actress has received a lot of flack from the media for appearing too thin -- something she now says she agrees with. "I was way too skinny before," she continued. "Here’s the thing: When you’re on television, »

‘Mad Men’ Live Read in Perfect Harmony with Finale

17 May 2015 10:44 PM, PDT | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

As “Mad Men” closes its accounts for the last time, AMC and Film Independent found a unique way to celebrate the Madison Avenue period drama that fans have loved (and sometimes mocked) for seven seasons: Invite Jason Reitman to direct a stage reading of one of the show’s most iconic episodes.

On Sunday night, fans gathered at the Ace Hotel Theatre to watch a reading of the “The Wheel,” the show’s very first season finale in 2007 that earned series creator Matthew Weiner and Robin Veith an Emmy award nomination.

The cast of readers was clearly made up of fans. Kevin Pollack, shoes in hand, appeared on stage to read the part of Bert Cooper (played by Robert Morse on the show) while Colin Hanks — who actually appeared in season two of the show — came with a drink in hand to play Jon Hamm’s boozing Don Draper. NBC Picks Up Himym-Style Comedy With Mark-Paul Gosselaar

7 May 2015 11:39 AM, PDT | Vulture | See recent Vulture news »

If the departure of How I Met Your Mother left you with a yearning for shows that are half single-cam, half multi-cam, NBC just picked up the show for you: People Are Talking, which is not a Harry Nilsson biopic, but instead a half-hour sitcom that follows two "wildly outspoken" couples who have long conversations about "sex and race, [and] the fact that the trusted new babysitter might just be a porn star." Those couples will be made up of Frankin & Bash's Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Being Human's Meaghan Rath, Whitney's Tone Bell, and Grey's Anatomy's Bresha Webb; Himym vet Pam Fryman is directing the pilot. Will there be flashbacks? »

Reese Witherspoon & Sofia Vergara Run in 'Hot Pursuit' UK Trailer

9 April 2015 12:37 PM, PDT | firstshowing.net | See recent FirstShowing.net news »

"I'm totally crushing it as a dude." Following the first mildly amusing trailer for Hot Pursuit, our friends from across the pond have just gotten a new trailer for the comedy starring Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara in what's basically their own version of Midnight Run meets The Heat. There's a bunch more new footage in this UK trailer that we didn't see in the Us trailer, including new stuff with comedian Jim Gaffigan. Plus, there's a scene where Witherspoon has to dress up like a man, and ends up looking like Justin Bieber. I feel like this just might be a little too silly, but it doesn't look downright terrible. Watch? Here's the new UK trailer for Anne Fletcher's Hot Pursuit from Warner Bros. UK: You can still watch the first trailer for Hot Pursuit right here. Hot Pursuit is directed by Anne Fletcher (The Proposal, 27 Dresses) and »

Reese Witherspoon & Sofia Vergara in First Trailer for 'Hot Pursuit'

12 February 2015 5:14 PM, PST | firstshowing.net | See recent FirstShowing.net news »

"We have been set up, shot at and hunted down." If you watched The Heat and thought to yourself, "Hey, I wish this was more like Midnight Run," then we have some good news for you. Hot Pursuit stars Reese Witherspoon as a feisty, uptight police officer tasked with escorting the widow/potential witness (Sofia Vergara) in an important investigation of a drug lord. But of course, shit goes down, and the two are forced to go on the run. Witherspoon and Vergara seem like a fun enough mismatched pair, but the comedy is a little broad, though I do like the bit about the news messing up their height and age respectively. Watch! Here's the first trailer for Anne Fletcher's Hot Pursuit from YouTube: Hot Pursuit is directed by Anne Fletcher (The Proposal, 27 Dresses) and written by David Feeney ("New Girl") and John Quaintance ("Whitney"). An uptight and »

Best of Late Night TV: Jamie Dornan Plays 'Fifty Accents of Grey,' Eliminated 'Bachelor' Girl Speaks Out (Video)

9 February 2015 11:00 PM, PST | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.

Jamie Dornan of "Fifty Shades of Grey" was on "The Tonight Show" Monday night (charming guy, but not into the beard - not that anyone asked) and he and Jimmy Fallon played "Fifty Accents of Grey." They were given an accent (Scottish, French, Italian, Cowboy...) and had to read real passages from the book in the accent assigned. Somehow they managed to make "Fifty Shades" even more ridiculous, but it's not like anyone was confusing it with Proust. (Jamie's panties quote was said with a French accent.)

In the second video, Jamie discussed his interest in The Rat Pack and his love for Don Rickles. He has a »

Best of Late Night TV: Lucy Hale's 'Pretty Little Liars' Censorship, Stephen Hawking's Whitney Houston Crush (Video)

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.

"Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale was on "Conan" Tuesday night, and she talked about how her sexy Cosmo cover embarrassed her father. It wasn't the photo as much as the cover words. Her dad saw the headline "Best Sex Ever" and he thought that was her interview. He texted her to say she looked great but he wasn't too excited about the articles. (He probably read them all, though.) Lucy also talked about "Pretty Little Liars," which is Conan's "neighbor" in the studio lot. Pll has a pink golf cart that's all decked out. On the show, they say "bitches" a lot, and they put it on »

Extended trailer for Better Call Saul

10 January 2015 12:06 PM, PST | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

AMC has given us our best look yet at Better Call Saul with an extended trailer for the upcoming Breaking Bad spin-off ahead of its premiere next month. Check it out below after the official synopsis…

Set six years before Saul Goodman meets Walter White. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and, often, against Jimmy, is “fixer” Mike Ehrmantraut, a beloved character introduced in ‘Breaking Bad.’ The series will track Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts “criminal” in “Criminal lawyer.” The series’ tone is dramatic, wove with dark humor.

Created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, Better Call Saul stars the returning Bob Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill / Saul Goodman and Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehremantraut, while new additions include »
